BI4.1 & Oracle Dates

In BI4.0 we supplied a DB format of ‘DD/Mmm/YY’ for time-stamp related fields. We set this format at the Universe Object level.
Now we are upgrading to BI4.1 and during our UAT phase we are facing the following issue.
When we are using this time-stamp filed in WEBI for filtering a query and especially when we are using greater than or less than to filter the query, the filter is not working and it is returning the entire data set from the beginning.

We are using BI4.1 SP6
For Oracle we are on 11g.

And we did try to modify the PRM document on the server and set the format to ‘DD/Mmm/YY’ & this did not help.

Any help is appreciated.

i’m running the same oracle and bus obs versions as you, have no issues with dates (once i’d set it to the non-us format , e.g. dd-mm-yyyy).

i take it you are using constants in your query filter? have you looked at the sql generated?
