BI 4.3 SP2 Patch 500 - biprws Restful service Deployment on WebSphere

Hi All,

We are upgrading from 4.2 SP8 to 4.3 SP2 Patch 500 on AIX.

Test Env:
One Application Node upgraded from 4.2 SP8 to 4.3 SP2 patch 500. We have all BO services created on this node. We also installed Tomcat that comes with the BO install.(Tomcat url is not accessed by users)
One separate WebSphere node where we have our F5 load balancer also deployed. All users access env with F5.

Steps:
1.)We upgraded BO, we tested tomcat urls, both CMC,BI Fiori Launchpad work fine with https(8443)port.

2.)We Created the BOE.ear file and deployed on the WebSphere node.

3.)Updated the CMC ->Applications ->Restful Service with the “Loadbalancer” url.

4.)The CMC url from WebSphere works fine, but the BI launchpad give “Not Found”

5.)Along with BOE.ear , we also deployed biprws.ear file, but we still see the “Not Found” error.

6.)We updated biprws.properties file from the path /enterprise_xi40/warfiles/webapps/biprws/WEB-INF/config

If anyone has already configured the Restful service on WebSphere for 4.3 , can you please your thoughts. Also our Dev and other env’s are in clustered mode. How do we deploy the biprws for a clustered env?

in my case, I needed to enable relative URL, I dont have nodes but web tier is in another server. and BIPRWS running on both APP and WEB

Appreciate for the response,

1.)Could you please let us know, if you had to make any changes to the biprws.properties file or web.xml file from the location <…Installation Dir…/enterprise_xi40/warfiles/webapps/biprws/WEB-INF/

2.)We deployed the BOE.ear and biprws.ear file on WebSphere node on the same CELL & Cluster.
Do we have biprws.ear file on another CELL? any custom configurations in WebSphere Webconsole for biprws?
