Under DAS, when a refresh called from a script fails for some reason, the DAS job is marked as ‘Error’ and the Error column shows the relevant error.
Under BCA, when a scripted refresh fails, the job is indicated as ‘Successful’ and the error column is blank.
Is there a recommended way to indicate that a BCA job has failed and to populate the error column on the console?
I have found an undocumented way using some ‘hidden’ properties on the Application object, but am not convinced that this is the way it should be done.
