BCA Publisher : BAW 0043 and BCAExtUser : EXT 0002

Hi all,

I have installed BCA Publisher 6.1a on a windows server 2000 SP4.
All BO components are installed on that machine.

Webintelligence and BO are working fine.
The BCA Publisher is working in Webi through the weblink “publications”.
I can configure mail publications or web publications and they run.

But i have login problems when i try to log to:

/servername/BCAPublisher
or
/servername/BCAExtUser.

In the first case the server response is :
User does not have the privileges necessary for this operation. (Error: BAW 0043)

In the second one:
You do not have the rights to use this feature. (Error: EXT 0002)
Please contact your BusinessObjects administrator.

Has anyone a solution to solve these problems ?

Ok.

For the first error message i found the answer.

The problem was:
I was trying to log to /server/BCAPublisher with a NON-External user account.

I was using a BO account.

For the second problem, i am still searching an answer.

What am i doing wrong ?

Hey,

I don’t think the BCAExt user is something that is meant to be accessed directly. The BCAPublisher site is the one that external users go through, all other users access Publisher through the Publications/Subscriptions link in WebI…
