Basic question on group by

Hi ,

I wanted to know how can we insert group by clause in a report.
i ahve two objects in a report a1 and a2
i need report to have these to objects in gruop by clause.

I know this may be a basic question but cud not help :wink:

Hi,

Are you talking about the GROUP BY clause in the query generated by DeskI?

If yes then check the universe, maybe something is not properly set there. I guess that it may be a fact that a measure is not defined with an SQL aggregate function (SUM, MAX, …).

Check projection of measure at universe level in properties tab of object properties.

Hi,

In universe level check the measure object properties to find whether any group by functions like sum,min,maxavg and none were used or not.
