Does anyone have any recommendations for backup software? Our company standard is Tivoli and BO does not support it. We are looking for something else to use.

No, I am looking for a backup of all the drives on the server Web Intelligence server.

We use Robocopy to take up back up of storage directory of webi.We had to stop webi and then only the copying was allowed. We have problems with this setup as webi doesn’t start correctly sometime after the backup…Any suggestions!!!

I have been using Ultrabac for the last 10 years and recommended it to many companies.
It is not the most well know. But
works great
has outstanding support (they spent 3 day’s over a remote connection troubleshooting a bug we had, all part of standard maintenance)

I once decided to upgrade a server from 1cpu to 2cpu. I did only a backup to the local raid system (had standard nightly/weekly backup as recovery).
And of course the Microsoft upgrade script was corrupt and I lost the raid with all my data, …
I followed the restore procedure from the Ultrabac website and less than 4hours after the crash I had restored everything: Windows, Applications, Databases and Database data.
Before that I had spend 24hours trying to recover the Microsoft disaster
