Backup & Recovery in SAP BODS

Hi experts,

I would like to know how the backup and recovery concepts works in SAP BODS.

I would like to take backup of my projects and jobs… and how to recover when necessary…?

Kindly provide any links if available…

Your question is a little ambiguous but I’m interpreting it ‘How do I store versions of my jobs?’ rather than ‘How do I restart my job if it fails?’.

I suggest you look up the concept of ‘Central repository’ in the technical manuals. You could also consider exporting versions of your jobs to an .atl or.xml file (details also in the technical manuals).

In addition to what Nemesis posted above I always make sure the DBA is making backups of the database(s) that hold the repository.
