If it’s a repost, I apologize. I have a task at hand and not sure if it’s doable in SAP BO 4.2 SP05. The scenario is: there is an application written in Java with a button that reads Generate Report. When user clicks on that button, a business objects report runs in the background and provides the user a screen to save it only or print, but within same application window (not a pop-up). No report is visible to the user at any time. The output should be in Excel format. Also, is there a way to automatically save the output in Excel to a network location (server on the network)? Is this possible? If so, how can I achieve such solution? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
