SAP BI 4.2 (SP6) running on an AWS RHEL instance. I’m trying to connect to a Redshift database after first editing the amazon.sbo by adding the path to the RedshiftJDBC4.jar file. Restarted the server and created a connection. The connection tests successful, tables insert into the DF, integrity checks just give warnings about missing primary keys but when I try to profile column values I get
[Simba](500310) Invalid operation: relation "my column" does not exist;
I’ve tried using RedshiftJDBC4-1.2.16.1027.jar but get the same results. Pretty much the same thing happens from BI Launchpad after exporting the .unx as well. I can query the database with no problem using Aginity Workbench for Redshift, using the exact same credentials.
Not sure what to try next. Has anyone connected 4.2 to Redshift? Which driver did you use?
Note to mods: not sure if this belongs in XI Server Discussion or Semantic layer, but leaning towards a configuration issue.
