We have a universe which requires two prompts to always be completed for each report: Year and Period. I want to schedule a report through InfoView using this universe, and I want it to always run the previous month, without anyone having to input any prompts. Is this possible?

In DeskI, your only option is magic dates. If you search here you’ll find a bunch of threads about them.
In BI4, with IDT, prompts can have a dynamic default value. So you could create a prompt that defaults to the previous month – that value will be used when the report is scheduled, but a user can select a different value when refreshing interactively.

This needs you to define your prompts. Unfortunately these are pre-defined prompts that I can’t change.
