WINDOWS SERVER VB REBOOT SCRIPT:
Attached files can be used to reboot the Windows server to our convenience.
There are totally two files.
- Restart.vbs
- Restart.bat
The batch file should be scheduled in the Windows scheduler.
All Programs > Accessories > System tools > Scheduled Tasks
Create a new scheduled task and add the Restart.bat file customizing the time you need. We implemented this in our server to restart Windows 2003 server every morning at 1:30am. This helps us clear all the cache data and keeps the system ready for fresh use everyday.
P.S: Place the Restart.vbs file as specified in the Restart.bat
