Running XI 3.1 and users are having issues metrics due to auto merge.?
It appears if you use a local vaiable as a metric, as opposed to a universe metric, the local metric values will change, providing incorrect results.
Our users have reports with multiple tabs and queries. Some tabs, not all, need the automerge turned off to reflect correct metrics, whereas some don’t.
Very confusion to the users, and me to be honest. My thought is to write the metrics all to be sourced from the universe, however, there is resistence to this.
Thoughts???
