Hey all,
I am trying to access reports under ‘Auditor’ in WebIntelligence XI R/2,
specifically Document Information Detail.
However, I am getting an error whilst trying to refresh this report:
“Database error: [Microsoft ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified. Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information (Error: WIS 10901).”
I noticed the Audit universe is missing when I try and import it in Designer…
Any ideas on how to a) resolve this problem and b) get the Audit universe back?
Thanks!

Welcome to B:bob:B!
That’s odd that you have the reports, but not the universe. However, the Activity universe can be found on the server in the following location:
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Samples\universe\
Then open the folder for the database platform you are using for your audit database. Open the universe in Designer, connect it to the database, then export it to the repository.

Hey, I tried doing this originally but in there is no universe folder in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Samples\universe\
…
So I tried copying and pasting the Activity.unv file after doing a windows search and says I can’t do it because it belongs to another CMS…
Any other ideas how I can get a copy of Activity.unv?

If you can find someone else who has the universe, for the database that you are using, you can have them export it to a BIAR file and then you can import it to your environment.
