Audit schedules with/without Auditor

Dear all,

We would like to setup a process that track whether schedules are successful or not. But we just found out we need to buy a license for Auditor

Right now we do not have license. We would like to ask

  1. Whether we could do it without Auditor. For example, by checking the BO DB.
  2. Where we could find the pricing for Auditor on the web

Thanks

If you are looking at purchasing Auditor, you need to talk to you SAP BO account manager.
You will not find the price on the internet.
Depending on which version of BO you have, you may find that Auditor is part of your package. Your administrator should know this, and if they don’t, talk to your SAP BO account manager.

when did they start charging for auditor??

Auditor never used to be free, so depending on your version, you may still be running under an older licence agreement, hence I suggested to talk to the account manager.

In my experience I do not recall that ever being the case. I worked with BO back in the 5 to XI and do not recall auditor ever being charged for, hence my surprise

Hmm, maybe BO do things differently in different countries. On one of my last client sites, I did their XIR2 conversion and when we went live, we did not get auditor. I was an application that required payment and it was about 6 months after the conversion when we finally got it for free.

Our version is XIR2. We tried to enable the auditor in CMC but it shows our license does not include auditor. We have check the license in SAP support but we cannot select a license for Auditor. So we think we need to purchase the Auditor for that

We would like to find out the price to convince our manager (which is also BO Account manager  ) to purchase the Auditor. We need to know whether we could do auditing by checking the DB. And we need to check the price of the Auditor so that we could compare benefits of the choices

Hi,

When I said to talk to your BO Account Manager, I meant the person that actually works for SAP. Your internal BO Account Manager should be talking to SAP.
You will probably find that your licence is a free upgrade if you have paid your maintenance. BO will supply you with a new licence key which will contain Auditor
