Audit is not getting updated

Guys,

I have installed BusinessObjects XI 3.1 version. I have enabled the Audit Database. Initially it was working fine. But now i have found that the Audit Database is not getting updated on regular basis.

for ex, in CMC i have totally 227 users list. But when i have a look on the Audit Database, “BOEAUDITDB” it shows around 150 users only.
Note: If i use SDK i can get the total numbers as like in CMC.

I am using SQL Server 2005.

Please guide me to fix this issue? or Am i doing wrong way?

Thank you in advance.[/b]

Good day “sperm”

Have you checked the audit events in the CMC? if you are trying to audit some server specific job it must be enabled in the CMC.

Go to CMC->Settings and check the Auditing status, should be ‘Enabled’. If everything is fine there, then CMC-> servers -> CentralManagementServer - Auditing Status -> and check the appropriate events there .
On the other hand, if those ‘missing’ users do not use BOE and had not logged in then everything is Ok.

Hello Sperm,
Auditing activity will only record the Users who logged in to the Enterprise.
So it is quite possible only 150 users logged in to the enterprise.

Thanks

Thanks ‘forgetUN’.
I agree your point. Out of 200+ users, 150+ users only had been logged into the BusinessObjects.

But for your information we are using WindowsAD authentication.
