ASUG SBOUC Still not on the schedule for this year?

I have been keeping an eye out for this years business objects conference. I keep not seeing it on the list of events? any thoughts as to why or if it will be merged?

ASUG allegedly had a planning meeting this past weekend, so I would expect an announcement soon.

If they take too much more time some of us might put our budget somewhere else.

If the fait of it wasn’t in jeopardy I wouldn’t be so concerned but it just makes it seem more like I was correct and Anaheim was the final BO only event.

and don’t put us back at the Hilton Anatole…

My “gut” is that all was going OK with ASUG co-locating SBOUC along side SAP TechEd in Vegas until SAP decided to change SAP TechEd to SAP D-Code. :hb: :hb:

I would expect a stand-alone SBOUC to happen in either September or November 2014, as October is now home to the SAP D-Code event.

If you have to plan Budget, etc - plan some something similar to Anaheim with regards to duration and costs…and I am working on getting a formal PUBLIC announcement on #SBOUC2014 from them ASAP.

GLAD TO SEE THE INFO. and thanks to those who have been pushing buttons to get this announced. Id hope the official posting on asug would show up in the next 7 days.

It use to be we would see the sign on the way out of the old conference as to where the next one was. and we had much better attendance back then. It has seemed like the scheduling and management of this has slipped a bit compared to about 5-6 years ago.
