BusinessObjects Board

Asked for Java Authentication on accessing Wiadmin url

When I try to access the admin page (wiadmin) i am asked for java authentication, but others are not getting this error.

BO 6.5.1 is installed on Windows 2003, IIS6.

I compared the browser settings in IE-8 - it is all the same.
Any ideas?

As soon as i key in the admin console URL, i see a java app running, and then i am prompted for credentials, If i key in the credentials, I am able to see the login page. If i cancel the authentication, i see the error message as

ClassNot found Exception -> bo.wi.adm.FrontalApplet.
When I navigate to the folder and look for that class, I see that. (obviously).

In teh java console I see -
Java Plug-in 10.4.0.22
Using JRE version 1.7.0_04-b22 Java HotSpot™ Client VM

I think it is something to do with the permissions and or java jre settings.

Please help!

SAP Business Objects does not support the listed version of Java yet… :yesnod: Apart from that you are using an older version of BO i.e., 6.5.1

Thanks!
I disabled the using of java 1.7 and it is working fine now.
