Client PC’s are a mix of Windows 2000 and XP

We are having an issue with the Java Report Panel. The JRE downloads and installs properly but we receive the following message when it tries to open “Applet Java_Report_Panel notinited”. When I look at the Java console I see the following message “load: class com.bo.wp.tc.TCMain.class not found.”. Here’s the cool part, if you close the popup and then log out of business objects but don’t close the browser and then log back in everything works just fine.

Has anyone experienced this issue with 6.5

Go to control panel
then java plug-in
then Cache
uncheck “enable caching”
click apply at the bottom
click the “x” at the top right
close all browsers
try opening a report - it should work the first time
close the report - then log out of nsight
log back into nsight
open another report
if it comes up again, you are good to go, and we can close the ticket with BO.

Thanks for the reply Jason but that didn’t resolve our problem here. I’m not sure what your configuration is but we determined that we needed to change the Maximum number of worker processes to 10 (it was set to 1). That seemed to take care of the problem.

I’m having the same issue(WEBI won’t open).

Server: Running BO v6.5.1 on Windows Server 2003 / IIS 6.0 / Java 1.4.2_03

Client: Running BO v6.5.1 on Windows XP / Java 1.5.0_10

I untick the “Enable Caching” option on the Server’s ControlPanel\Java Plug-in, but no luck

Where do you go to change the Maximum number of worker processes to 10 ?

Open the wiadmin tool. It’s there somewhere.
