I was asked this question today in an interview. If you have vulnerabilities on BO installed Tomcat and if the client wants to install a Tomcat that has no vulnerabilites , how do you make sure that the new opensource Tomcat works with BO.
I answered saying that i would copy Jar files and war files to the new place and repoint , but the interviewer asked if there is another way to do it. Does any one know another way to do it
Another question was if your CMS is failing and you cannot enable trace on web page how do you do it from the backend server . I didn’t know but on the top of my head I answered if we can make change to the CMS command line and add trace it would work but he said Linux has some other feature to do it which i wasnt aware of.
Another interesting question was how to size tomcat than going with default installation. I always went with default installation. Does anybody know how BOBJ sizing takes effect here.
