Allow for the report to be run for a variable-length time

Hi Friends,

Below is the task what I have to solve.

My Business Objects consultant has created a report called Roll Off Report which the report was created by using hard coding. The sql was hard coded sql which retrieves the infromation for the next six months. For example the start period Is Sep means I will get the information for next six months starting from sep to Feb.

1)Currently the report is set to run for a fixed-length six month period

But the My Manager wants the report for the below criteria.

1)The selection criteria would allow for a report to be run a minimum of one month, maximum of six, for any length in between.

Business Consultant created a promt for start month Year. I am attaching the hardcoded sql query for the above report. Could you please provide me the information for the above criteria. If you didn’t understand anything please feel free to ask.

Truly speaking, I didn’t get the exact requirement. Means what you are trying to achieve. It would be better if you explain us one more time in detail and step by step.
