Alerters and corss tab reports in 5.1.7 version

Hi,

Could any of you confirm if the following features are supported in the BO 5.1.7 version which is purely Desktop Intelligence;

  1. Alerters - for color coded view of the numbers
    2.Cross Tab generation
  2. Multi select prompts

Hi,

Yes, alerters, cross-tabs as well as multi select prompts are available in BO 5.1.7.

Just as a note, move to the more recent BO version. 5.1.7 was supported long long time ago.

Another confirmation I need is - Can the reports be saved as Excel in BO 5.1 ?

Can any one also suggest some good links that talk about 5.1.7 in detail. To be more specific, I need to create universes and reports using AS 400 database. I need to know in detail the features of 5.1.7 including the connection and supervisor information. Any help is greatly appreciated.

All products guides should be available on installations CDs that were used when you installed BO.

But I dont have an installation here ! I tried to search the net and could’nt find any good reference to that ! Can you confirm the save as excel option in 5.1.7 please ??

Save as Excel option was available from BO 6.0 version. It was not in 5.1.7
