Hello Gurus

my client is Sales Department

end of each day in a month his people should enter the sales on that day

for example

a X company enters $$$ end of day on jan 1st 08, X company does the same on every day in a month

in universe there is variables Calender date(which shows the date enterd by Xcompany) and also company name

if X company enters all 31 days in jan month… then the row count for the calender date would be 31 for X cmpany

there many companies in company name variable…

My issue i want to know companies names whose row count would be less than 31. i used alerter to highlight them but my client doesnt want an alerter he wants only the company names which are less than 31 for a month

like a prompt which should satisfy for every month and for every year…

can this can be done in Reproter or it needs to be done designer?

please help out guys…

Hi,

I have little experience in BO, but for ur query i think u can use filter in your report and get only company names for which rowcount is less than 31(or as u wish).

so like i should insert filter on column of the row which iam using count?

Hi,

You can include a condition at the query level, to do this clik Edit Data provider and insert the condition in the condition pane or you can apply a filter on the report. To filter at the report level select the column and click on the Insert Filter from the menu bar.

You can also build similar condition in the universe level.
