AL_RWJobLauncher does not exit

The module “AL_RWJobLauncher” started externally sometimes keeps running and as a result will not exit.
Please advise

I’ve never had a problem specifically with that executable not stopping. In almost every case I can think of there was a problem either in the ETL or in the database that prevented to job from finishing. For example, if the Oracle database runs out of log space it will sit there and wait for somebody to do something to fix that. In the meantime the ETL job is still running without any error or warning. Once the DBA clears up the logging issue the ETL job will continue on as if nothing happened.
