I am in the midlands and it has been seen that our team require BO XI r2 / r3 training.
Anyone recommend any training courses (external) ?

Besides the one that SAP offers directly, there are a number of SAP partners that also offer training services. I’ve instructed classes in the past and would be more than happy to setup a time to come in train you and your team at your organization.
Also, considering Desktop Intelligence is EOL (end of life) with the release of BOXI 4.0, it maybe beneficial to train your users on Web Intelligence and its Rich Client (for reporting) and customize your installation to exclude the feature. Depending on your needs, it maybe helpful to include the following as well: Designer, Administration, Dashboards, and possibly X-Celsius.
