Adding webi cluster - will frs in/out files be stored on it?

Here’s our proposed setup:

Server 1: CMS, frs in/out, tomcat, all core services
Server 2: webi
Server 3: crystal, voyager, and some other services that are not core

Will servers 2 and 3 require frs in/out services? Will they require space to store files, or will all that be taken care of by Server 1?

All servers will use FRS on server 1. The space needed on servers 2 & 3 will be related to temporary files and caching. I believe the BO “best Practise” for CMS’s is 1 CMS service for every 500 users. I don’t recall if I saw that in a BO Document or it is from our experience.

Thanks, that is good to know. We have around 500 users, many do not use the system very often. However, we only have licensing for 1 cms. We have 8 processor licenses, though and quad-cores count as 2.5, according to our SAP rep.
