Acutal vs Budget - Running sum

I have gone through with search for my problem and i found related topics whose links are as follows, but found no solution for my problem.

I’ve been asked do do a Chart/Graph that looks like the attachment in Desktop Intelligence, I can’t find the ability to do some of these things. Can anyone tell me if these things are possible and if so how to do them? A line as part of a bar graph, the line represents a cumulative running total of the values, I can’t see anty “mixed” chart option allowing me to do this, let alone aclculating a running total and using it. Hi All, In BO XI… when i break the report with respect to the customer name and try to find the cumulative with respect to their amount… i dont see the running sum reset to the first value with respect to each customer. Can you please help me resolve this… it’s quite urgent It works fine only for the first section of the report and not for the subsequent sections. I have a chart (line) which displays revenue (running sum) for 3 quarters ( in 3 different colors ). This data is from database (actuals). It works fine. But when i include budget figures (dataprovider from excel sheet) into this chart as one more line, my chart gets disturbed and shows abnormal growth where one of the quarter data line remains constant (horizontal line). The formula i used is

=RunningSum(<TOTALREVENUE)>/1000+(<TotalOutlook>)+

(<TotalBudget>);<FiscalQuarterandYearRevenue)>)

Is it a problem with runningsum function or any other?

If anybody can put a light on this.
