Account Information Not Recognized

Hi,

In an attempt to backup my Business Objects production system, I created a database dump of PROD and restored it to the BACKUP.

Also, I rsynced the frsinput and frsouput directories. I was under the impression that would essentially copy everything from one instance to another.

After doing this, I get the following error:
Account Information Not Recognized: The property SI_GUID of info object with id number 9603 is not unique. Table = ‘CMS_InfoObjects6’. Column = ‘SI_GUID’

I was under the impression this would be enough to get a backup created…did I miss a step?

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated…

Thanks,
Dave

Are you sure your CMS database backup and the file repositories are in unison?

Hi,

Thank you for your response…

I actually just restarted all the servers on the backup box and it appears to be working…

I should have done that before posting. Just out of curiosity, will this method of backup also capture instances?

Thanks again,
Dave

Instances are stored in your Output File store. So it should capture them as well.

Hi everybody,

I am having the same issue.

My environment :

BOXI3.1, Linux Redhat 5 + WMWARE, Oracle 11.

Do I need to restart all the servers to correct it?

I mean OS server, database server and Bo server?

Regards,
