Account Info not recognized: AD Auth failed to log you on.

Hi, All

Only few users getting below error when trying to login into BI launchpad using Windows AD auth. After few attempts(5 or 6) to login and failed, then they can able to login.

‘Account Info not recognized: Active Directory auth failed to log you on. FWM 00006’.

The reason I know about above error is : 1. If the user is not part of the AD group and don’t have access to BI then will get above error.
2. If user entering incorrect password then will get above error.

Can anyone please let me know what are the other reasons of getting above error.

You can enable logging for AD authentication in Tomcat.

Take a look at the KB note for configuring AD authentication.
