Access to SAP Messages Server - RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER

Hello,

I’m trying to connect to SAP with Data Integrator and the SAP live environment is configured with a Messages Server.

We have created the file sapnwrfc.ini on the BO DS server (in the bin directory) like this :
DEST=SAP_PROD
GROUP=ECC_PROD
R3NAME=SAP_PROD
MSHOST=
RFC_TRACE=0

We have modified the datastore to use the sapnwrfc.ini file and fill the Destination field with SAP_PROD.

When we apply the change, we have the error below :
RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER : Parameter ASHOST, BWHOST, MSHOST is missing (BODI-1111348).

We have also declared the environment variables RFC_INI and DS_NWRFC_INI :
set RFC_INI = d:\rfctest\sapnwrfc.ini for example

Could you help us to identify the problem ?

Don’t know. Too be honest, I’ve not found a clear example on how to fill in that file. There are some obscure pages from SAP on the internet, but nothing with a good example.

We still haven’t found the way to solve this problem.
