Has anyone tried to use VPN to access BCA conolse remotely? Do you encounter any slow respoinse?

Well, I think it all depends on how you access via VPN. I connect through different types and all I notice is a slow reponse time sometimes on the interface. I mostly use the Remote Desktop of Windows to access remote systems.

I use it but as HenkK mentioned I remote connect to the system most of the time. But performance through VPN is bit slower than accessing via corporate intranet. Also depends on the job log history you are maintaining. How many days worth of data are you maintaining for processed jobs?

Even there’s not too many jobs shown no BCA console, response time also very slow. When I click “Run Now”, it never responsed.
When I issue SQL common directly through DB2 tools, repsonse time is quit fast. So I dont know why response of BCA console is so slow

I use VPN and remote desktop. Minimise the remote desktop and maximise again. Seems to work!?!
