6.5 SP4 removal

Hi All,

Is it a good idea to uninstall SP4 from a 6.5 installation? Has it been done before?

My requirement is to downgrade a 6.5 SP4 to 6.5.1, hence looking for some info on whether its possible to simply uninstall SP4 from the server.

Pointers are much appreciated!

What’s the point of the downgrade of such an ooooold BOBJ version?

It is a good idea to upgrade to a supported version, preferably SAP BI BusObjects 4.0 8)

I am working for an archaeological museum, so older the better

Actually, there is a planned upgrade to XI but we currently are running on 6.5 until that happens sometime in next few months. The problem at hand though is to downgrade a non-prod system to be aligned with a prod system which doesnt have SP4.
