When I login into Infoview and click the Publication link to create either a mail publication or a web publication, i am getting this error messgae
A problem occurred while accessing the database (Error: BAW 0010).
FYI, We recently moved the repository from one instance to another instance in the same DB server. After this, created new bomain.key and changed the Universe and Document domain locations using the Supervisor. Also created new bomain.mkey using Repository Manager and changed connections to BCAPub universe and Document. Everything else is working as before after chaging the instance expect for this BCA Publisher.
Am I missing something with regard to BCAP after moving the Repository or is it because of something else? Would be great if i could solve this issue ASAP.
Have you an update to this problem…I have the same issue at a customer site using a repository on DB2 7.2. Have successfully got BCAP working on the DEV server but when I came to build on the UAT server I get these errors when activating a publication. Noticed also that it occurs when setting up the scheduling in a publication.
I too am getting "A problem occurred while accessing the database. (Error: BAW 0010). BO Support has so far not been much help. They have had me check and recheck my Publisher Parameters, re-export the bcapub.unv and bcapub.rep back to repository. I applied hotfix 506 and altered registry entry from ControllerHeapSize = 0 to ControllerHeapSize = 512 But to no avail, the problem still exists. Al-x Kellogg now emailed saying the product group replied:
He said it is a known issue with the 6.5.1 repository. So, I should have some additional information tomorrow morning. You might want to look into getting a dump of your repository from your DBA as well …just in case. Im sure this is the next thing they will want.
