We actually have upgraded to 4.2 sp8 but noticed this SAP note
2457817 - After upgrading to Data Services 14.2 SP7, some negative source values are changed in the destination in SAP Data Services
Have not experienced this yet but supposedly, its not corrected until sp8 patch 3 or sp9, both are not available yet.
Have been in contact with SAP but no luck getting information on this note and understanding what are the circumstances when this can happen.
Has anyone experienced this???

After Upgrading from DS 14.2 SP3 to DS 14.2 SP7, some source negative (-) values change in the destination.
A job run results as follows:
(14.2) 04-04-17 15:30:08 (2348:6716) SQLREAD: SQL results for reader in is: <2017,13,D020,M03310901,-610,-67826,8,970>.
(14.2) 04-04-17 15:31:30 (2348:0360) SQLLOAD: SQL results for loader in is: 2017,13,D020,M03310901,-6100,-67826.00,8,970.00.
Note: -610 in the SQLREAD changes to -6100 in the SQLLOAD
