There doesn’t seem to be an Access Level called Advanced - or at least I can’t find it. Is that what happens when you tweak access for a user or group on a particular object (like a folder)?
I have instructions from Epic on setting up a user for some monitoring, and they say to set the Access Level to Advanced.
In XIr2, there was an access level named “Advanced”. So you could choose either View, Full Control, etc., or Advanced. Advanced would give you the ability to grant or deny specific access rights.
XI3 and above supports a combination of access levels (called Roles) and access rights. So, you can assign a role such as View as well as grant specific rights.
If your directions say “set access level to advanced”, then that was very likely written for XIr2.
