32-bit Windows 7 - ODBC Usage

Hi

I came up on this situation.

Our Job Servers are all Windows Server 2008 edition and basically 64-bit and no issues

However, the designer users have a mix of 32-bit Windows 7 and 64-bit Windows 7.

Now, I created some ODBC(64-bit…of course it has to be a 64-bit) in Job Server. My fellow member is having a Windows 7 - 32 bit install. Now how would they import tables for that ODBC if they will have to use it?

Note: I have workaround of using our Citrix boxes. But is that how this going to work? Or am i missing some piece in between?

At the moment it is a bit of a mess and the way I want to repair that is, the Designer no longer interacts with the repository or the source/target databases, it will contact the jobserver and that does all.

But for now a 32bit OS would need a 32bit Designer, a 32bit ODBC driver with a DSN of the same name on all computers pointing to the one database.
