3.1 webi java report panel error

Hi,

I am trying to run a report in webi 3.1 and i am getting the following error message displayed:

This version of WebIntelligence Java Report Panel, is not signed. This application cannot be executed on this machine without certificate or .java.policy file deployed in your home directory.

Environment:

Java Platform Standard Edition 6
version 1.6.0(build 1.6.0_03)

Please let me know what needs to be done.

Pretty much what it says on the box. You need to apply a security certificate to your Java installation. I’d get with your local network guys for assistance.

I’d also recommend upgrading your Java client if at all possible. I’ve had endless problems with Java 1.6 below release 11. BOXI 3.1 runs extremely smoothly under release 13 or 14, though.
