Hi,

Can BODI extract from ABAP Views?

I’ve just tried to extract from an ABAP view within an R/3 dataflow, and receive the error message below…

(12.1) 10-25-10 12:28:27 (E) (2976:1920) R3C-150607: |Dataflow DF_EDW_Ex_ZV_T777A
Execute ABAP program <//SMGH-DB-15/workdir/ZBODI_ZV_T777A> error < ABAP SYNTAX ERROR “ZV_T777A” is not defined in the ABAP Dictionary as a table,>.

I can import the view into my repository, and see the definition - although when I View Data I get an error of ‘Error calling R/3 to get table data: <TABLE_WITHOUT_DATA>’

Could be an access issue.
Can you import and check with any other object or R/3 table???

Hi,

I am also facing same issue. I tried to execute the job using both normal Dataflow and ABAP Dataflow.
I am getting following errors:

  1. Normal DF:
    Error calling RFC function to get table data: <RFC_ABAP_EXCEPTION-(Exception_Key: TABLE_WITHOUT_DATA, SY-MSGTY: E, SY-MSGID:
    AM, SY-MSGNO: 286, SY-MSGV1: ADRT)>.

  2. ABAP DF:
    Execute ABAP program <//adelkg071m/o_c_folder_np/DC/ABAP_V_T001K_ASSIGN.dat> error < ABAP SYNTAX ERROR “V_T001K_ASSIGN” is
    not defined in the ABAP Dictionary as a t>.

Could anyone please suggest what can be done to resolve this issue?
I am not sure Data Services support using SAP Views.
