In my report i am using a cascading prompt as mentioned below:
Week
–Month
-----Year
While refreshing the value for the above prompt as soon as i click on year in refresh panel all the year values are displaying automatically without allowing me to click on refresh values button.
When i am using same year object separately above mentioned issue is not occuring.
Can any one please tell me how to resolve this problem?
Mentioned chain mentions about hierarchial display. in my case i can not use hierarchial display.
I just want to know is there any method by which the lowest level prompt does not gets refreshed automatically in cascading prompt. i want this feature because the automatic data refersh is taking a lot of time and i want to enter the value for that prompt to continue selection for upper level prompts. Even i will be able to search value wiothout waiting for data to get refreshed.
