Why is the use for BO to use two query instead of one ?

Hello,

You can set at universe level an option which allows BO to use a query for each indicator of the report. In fact if you use it, BO will generate one query for each indicator and do a full outer join between the results.

What is the purpose ?

Avoiding to use too much join when there is no modeling and BO is leant on an operational system ?
