What is body and block operators?

Hi,

Can anyone explain what is body operator and block operator in webi? and the difference between body and block.

In Block sets the context for each block or section whereas In Body is the standard default context for each row of data.

A Block in a report tab may be a Table or Chart or Section etc & Body means the whole report tab(Tables, Charts, Heading…everything in the report tab) of a Webi Document.

If you use any operator for a Block, it will be applied to a Block. Ex: If you Context Operators with “In Block” in the formula, it will be involving data in the Block only or if you use a report filter on a Block, it will work for that block only.
If you use any operator for the whole report, it will work for the whole report.
