What are binaries in Business Objects???

Can some help me understand the below two in Business Objects???

Binaries
Universe Overloads

Binaries are the files which contain the Business Objects program code. As for universe overloads, I would suggest you read the manual.

Binaries are used in unix based systems. You can say, as we have .exe for windows to run a program similarly we have to run binaries of a program to run it.

Also uinverse uploads are row level security, you may follow the following link to understand it.
