I am new to the BO product suite, and here at my project we need to deployee WebI in an extranet environment.
According to BO documentation this is not a problem since WebI supports the HTTP protocol;
Is a HTTP Proxy running on the firewall machine the only thing we need to control access to the WebI Server behind the firewall? Can WebI be installed on a different machine from our WebServer (Netscape Enterprise) or not?
I’ve worked with an OLAP tool where its web gateway could be installed on a different box from the WebServer. What am I missing here?
