Amy Miller, one of our illustrious co-list managers, has provided me with a copy of the spreadsheet file comparing the features of Webi and the Full Client. A number of folks were looking for a copy, now you can download it at your leisure from:
Look for it under the name, “Feature Set: Webi vs. Full Client”. The file is presented as a zip file. If you need an unzipping utility may I suggest WinZip, a shareware program that - in my opinion - is one of the best available.
If anyone would like to add comments, features, notes, or anything else to the sheet, please feel free to mail me directly (not via this list! ) and I can get the update posted to our site.
At this point I would like to re-extend the invitation to anyone that has not visited that particular area of our site… we have a number of tech notes provided by Integra Solutions consultants as well as others that participate on the list. And - best of all - it’s free!
If anyone has the time or inclination to put something together that you feel would be useful to the BusObj public, please feel free to drop me a line. In most cases I would be more than happy to have your articles posted on our website.

Our Business Objects sales rep concluded that this spreadsheet compares BusinessObjects 5.0 full-client with WebIntelligence 2.5.

Have you looked closely at the feature map? I am not sure if it contains errors, or if I am just not reading it right.
For example, it says that WebI supports prompts within reports, but Full Client doesn’t. Is that true? How are prompts within reports different from prompted queries?
It also says that WebI does not support user defined conditions/filters.
Also, I looked through all charts available in WebI and didn’t find the following: Column, Pie, and 3D Column.
Could anybody please clarify this to me.
Thank you.
Olga.
