WebI report

Hi Listers,

We are facing a new problem, I want to know if any of you have seen it before…

We have BO 4.1.6 and WebI 2.0.3.

We have a report built in full client and have exported it onto the repository, and when opened and refreshed from WebI we are getting an error

" Internal error Unable to launch server process
(returned by function Import Report) "

This report use to work fine till the last time it was looked into. We even deleted the report from the Repository and re-exported it, but still the same problem. Nothing was changed on the WebI server or on the repository server. Whereas any other reports built on WebI are refreshing fine.

Verify that you have the full client services enabled on the server… You said it was developed on a pc, then exported? Maybe that is why your Webi reports still work, they use different processes - you may have shut it off / business objects is not able to fire up on the server…

This is a very common error in version 4.

You need to fine tune the servconf.exe application.

I can email some docs about it if needed be
