Hmmmm. Intriguing!! I was going to point you here…and you may want to look at that thread as a potential source of info…but I’ve just never heard that refresh on open was a pivotal factor in prompt display performance 
. I am definitely going to mark this thread and do some testing when I get back to work. We have some reports that refresh on open and have had the occasional complaint about slow prompt display but I’ve never studied whether refresh on open was a key! Our server has had some recently remedied speed issues so now is a good time to take a look. Please keep me posted on anything you find. Have you spoken with techsupport? You’ve got a great case…assuming they can duplicate it in their environment.
