Webi Options

Does any one know if it is possible, and if so how to, change the “options” defaults for the Webi users during the initial creation of users. Example: I would like to change the default to “Corporate Documents” from Welcome page etc.

Hi,

I did that for my client. Goto Options and change your default page from Welcome page to Corporate documents and click on Apply Changes. You will get it.

Thanks
Ravi.

I saw an article on this in the knowledge base, and yes you can… involves the registry on the webserver, can set a default file to use…

Brent

we run something on our webi server to handle this. I will research it and
reply. Basically, we wanted all users to default to Corp. Doc. on their
first screen.
