What does this mean? Thanks.

Arun,
Make sure teh DefaultMyFrame.wis is in the …WebIntelligence/WiGenerator/Wi folder. That is where it is looking for it…perhaps it isn’t there. It may also be that your directories in IIS are not set up correctly. I assume you have logged in successfully before. What changed on the server?

Hi Listers,
Our users in WebI using Netscape 4.7 are getting a problem while login to Infoview. The first time they try the id and password, it works fine. When they logout of WebI and then click the Login button again they get the message ‘Authorization Failed.Retry?’. Once they click the ‘OK’ button they are presented with the Userid/password dialog box (with the used id already in there, but password is blank). They are able to login after typing password this time. This doesn’t happen in Internet Explorer. I understand that netscape is caching the Id but not the password. Is there a setting in somewhere to solve this problem?
Any help is welcome…
Regards,
Durgesh

Durgesh, unfortunately it seems that there is no Netscape setting to override this. We just teach our users that this is what happens if they keep Netscape active. So, if they then go back into WebI after a logout, when they see this message, they should just click the OK.

Durgesh,
Try the following:
Open Netscape-> Edit → Preferences->Advanced
select the middle Radio Button under Cookies. [ Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server].
Press ‘OK’
Restart the browser after closing and now it should work as you desired.
Thanks

Tarak,
I tried but it did not work for me. Do I need to check anything else?

There you go…
We are using BO Standard authentication. So,that may be the difference as Anita Craig also wrote in mailserv that they have similar problem. My setting was
already ‘Accept all cookies’ before I changed as you suggested.
Looks like we have to live with it.
Thanks anyway,
Durgesh
Durgesh,
Though it is working in my case, you can try by setting the 1st Radio button under Cookies,
“Accept All Cookies”.
Secondly what authentication is being used at your installation. Here I am using
NT authentication not BO one for WebI.
Thanks
