We’ve setup a list of values on a column in a BO Report. When we run the report in Business Objects, we see the list of values when we click on the ‘Values’ button; however, while executing the report in WebI, the screen blanks out when we click on the ‘Show Values’ button to show the list of values. Does anyone know what the problem could be ?

Some details on environment would help:
browser?
version?
db?
activeX or Java?
Is this a c/s report in Webi or are you recreating your BO report as a Webi report? Is the lov standard or custom?
This should help some of us suggest causes.

We had observed similar kind of behaviour with WEBI 2.0 and when we talked to the BO tech support about this , they had mentioned that this would be fixed in WEBI 2.5!

A couple things to try.
Look at your webi server - do the LOV’s exist there? If not, place a copy of them on the server. Next, change your mode from asynchronous to synchronous if you haven’t already - this should diminish future LOV problems.

Missed the first message. We have Webi 2.51 and we can not get the list of values to work with ActiveX. It seems to work under full Java though. We had a lot of problems with the ActiveX.

Browser: IE 5.0
Database: Oracle8
We’re using ActiveX
The report was created in BO and published to the Corporate documents. We are accessing it via WebI.
