I have a WebIntelligence 2.0 user who is defined as a supervisor. He
creates a document in WebI and publishes it as a corporate document.
Then he opens “corporate documents” to delete the document that he just
published in error. The delete checkbox does not appear and he cannot
delete the document from WebI.
He can go into Business Objects Supervisor and use the Tools/Delete
Document to delete it. But since he is a supervisor, and the creator of
the corporate document, shouldn’t he be able to delete it in WebI? I
have checked and all his security is enabled for WebIntelligence.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Thanks.

I have also seen this problem and I think the only people able to delete
a document from the repository in Webi is the General Supervisor…
I have some other problem for the moment and no time to test it
more…try it.

[Clayton, Cindy, HRBUS] I've been working with WEB-I this morning.
I’m sure that
you don’t have to log in as the general supervisor to see the delete
boxes. He
should be able to delete his own docs. Did he try logging out and
back in again? Did he
refresh the document list? Perhaps he has a stale copy of the page?
Each user has the capability to delete reports they send to the repository.
Make sure they are logging into WEBI with the same ID they used to send the report. Make sure that they hit the refresh button…BO needs to change this function!!!
