in report i took 2 data providers . when i take the dimesnion object . its showing variables are not complitable(DMB0008)
what i do now .

do you still see dimension object italicized when you click on anohter dimension objects ? if ‘yes’ then dimension objects are not properly linked yet.

go to view data -> Results
double click on dimension object from 1st dp
a new window pops up
single click on appropraite dimension object to link with 1st dp.
follow the same steps to all dimension objects that you want to link.
click ok

Create detail variables from your dimensions (not linking IDs / fields) and associate them with the relevant ID for each data provider and use those in your report.
Search for ‘Variables not Compatible’ for more details…
